GEOSTATISTICAL PREDICTION OF STREAMFLOW INDICES: THEORY AND PRACTICE
The aim of this short training course was to provide participants with a foundation in geostatistical prediction of streamflow indices and signatures (e.g. flood quantiles, low-flow indices, flow-duration curves, etc.). The participants learned theory and practice on how to spatially interpolate streamflow indices along the stream-network with Topological kriging (Top-kriging).
Methods and Information:
The keynote seminars was coupled with hands-on practical computational experiences (R-project environment; R-package rtop) and discussions under the supervision of international academic experts in Top-kriging applications.
